Students will learn to care for their instrument as well as tuning the guitar. A guitar player since early age I have an immense passion for this beautiful instrument and the will to share my knowledge with who ever shares this passion. Curriculum vitae: Theresa was born in Innsbruck in 1998, where she was already 5 years old began to play the violin. She completed her preparatory studies at the Tyrolean State Conservatory with Annedore Oberborbeck and completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Mirjam Tschopp. She is currently studying at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna Baroque violin with Ulrike Engel. Music theory is very important for anyone looking to learn an instrument! It helps broaden an understanding of the instrument and will also help you progress faster! If you are looking to do ABRSM instrumental exams, you will need to pass grade 5 music theory in order to progress to grade 6 in your instrumental exams, therefore I will be able to guide you to passing your grade 5 theory paper and beyond. I am also a professional freelance musician and conductor, for anyone interested in conducting, we can discuss how to approach a score in relation to this.

If you want to develop your skills as a composer, this is the class for you! In this class, you are going to learn the fundamentals of creating original music, including Music theory, Motif Development, Rhythm, Structure, Orchestration, and Music Notation. During our classes, we are also going to explore different musical genres, analyze and finally put them into practice.

With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires. I attach great importance to creating a caring and relaxed atmosphere where the student can flourish and develop both a solid technique and learn self-confidence. We will also discuss how to work efficiently and calmly and we will develop the qualities necessary to express yourself freely with your instrument. We will talk about musicality, physical well-being (the importance of breathing!), attentive listening and we will take the time to explore while having fun. If necessary, the basics of music theory will be learned gradually.
