I specialize in making Violin playing at the highest levels. Special focus includes how to play the violin with ease, without any discomfort over a lifetime. I play Baroque violin, use historically-informed approach to Early music, and all periods of music history, including contemporary practices.

I have more than seven years of experience in teaching violin, viola, music theory and complementary piano, so no matter what level you are, I can teach you from the ground up. I specialized in classical music but I can also help you to play and learn your favorite songs. I find it very important to connect mind and body with the instrument, so I like to emphasize from the beginning on relaxation and proper postures to avoid pain or contractions later on. I like to develop a series of relaxation and stretching exercises before and at the end of each class. I believe that music should be a source of joy and enjoyment before anything else. I don’t have a definite method, as I think I have to adapt to the needs and aptitudes of each student. I can give individual and group lessons (no more than 4 people), so I can also work with small groups.

My name is Lauren I am a violist and composer based in Schöppingen, Germany. I received my Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance at The Juilliard School in 2019, and have since taught music lessons online and in-person since 2013. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 3-80. I teach classical music, improvisation, even electronics, if that is of interest. I always cater to the needs and interests of my students, creating an individualized lesson plan for them. I have studied Alexander Technique, and always emphasize the importance of physical health and comfort in my instrumental teaching. When teaching composition - I enjoy discovering the creativity of each student, helping them find their individual voice. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
