I play drums in many different groups, bands, collectives, projects. I have been playing Drums for 13 years, beginning with Rock music and then moved to Jazz where I studied jazz drums at the Conservatory of music and ballet Ljubljana. I offer lesson of Jazz, Rock, Pop, Funk, Hip-Hop, Soul, RnB and similar styles of music, whatever you are interested in.I love working with everyone who is willing to improve or start learning about drums and music!

Hello! My name is Diana and I am a concert pianist with over 8 years experience in teaching. I studied piano performance (Pre-College, Bachelor’s and Master’s) at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg and graduated with honors. Since 2016 I have been increasingly focusing on my pedagogical activity. Whether you are a beginner or you’re more experienced, everybody is welcome, regardless of age. In my teaching, my main goal is to help you find joy in making music, develop a healthy, efficient technique and a deeper understanding of the way music works. I am generally very flexible/adaptive and I try to support my students in making consistent progress and reaching their own individual goals. LEARNING BY HEART Learn to play/sing favorite songs: - Depending on your ability, we simplify (or enrich) the accompaniment and improve it in a fluid manner - I'll show you various "hacks" and shortcuts - you don't have to do anything "right", you can follow the fun. - play/practice without pressure, how does that work...? You can make it easier for yourself! How much time you invest stays with you. :-) - any style possible, as long as it makes sense for you technically - Singing: easy! Write your own songs: - I give you different "glasses", "rails" through which you come up with new ideas, both for the music as well as the lyrics and singing - "writers block" - from the head back to the heart using simple techniques - learn to use the hidden treasure trove of ideas in your body (subconscious)! - and most importantly: have fun with “bad” songs! generally: - you will find clear goals for each hour (e.g. record a song or parts of it,...), for the next few weeks and for the next months - we record as much as possible because it is the best exercise (and the most exciting ;-) and you have something "in your hands" that is satisfying in itself, no matter how "perfect" it is (everything is perfect How clean is up to you ;-). - I'll help you promote the joy of sharing your music ("I can give something!") - and above all: learn to feel what really makes you happy. Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
