I have 8 years of experience as a teacher for children and adults and I have a master's degree in piano performance and research in Musical Didactics. I am passionate about pedagogy, piano and research. I maintain a good relationship with my students and especially, I am very attuned to young children. I am methodical and with an affinity for technology. I am certified in advanced English and braille musicography and am a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. I seek my classes to be fun, creative and non-traditional: using modern methodologies that invite the use of intuition, improvisation and the discovery of music through auditory development and movement.

Modern Music, Electronic, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Classical... I am an international polyinstrumentalist with a diploma in violin from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I started playing the Piano and Violin at the age of 4 and I am an active performer throughout Europe, with 20 years of experience teaching this instrument. In addition, I have had the honor of being an official Violin Tutor of the educational sector of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, which further enriched my pedagogical background. My advanced training in Jazz and electronic music complements my approach, allowing me to offer a diversified range of both acoustic and electric violin and my repertoire ranges from classical pieces to modern music. I am pleased to present my violin classes, both acoustic and electric, specifically designed to address a wide range of musical styles and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, offering a nurturing learning environment. My methodology combines traditional elements, Russian influences and Suzuki method approaches, and I carefully adapt it to the individual needs of each student. An example program from one of my classes includes goal definition, a solid technical foundation, followed by exploration of classical and/or modern repertoire. I encourage musical expression and creativity, which allows my students to develop their own performing style. What gratifies me most as a teacher is sharing the joy of music and the passion for this versatile instrument. For me, seeing my students grow and enjoy music is a privilege. During this course you will be able to acquire all the necessary tools to learn from scratch the knowledge and skills necessary to play the violin or viola, learn to read sheet music and understand the general functioning of music through the Suzuki methodology and others. I have demonstrable experience in teaching violin and viola to children and young people at a beginner and intermediate level. Learning to play a musical instrument is not only an artistically enriching activity, but it also offers a wide range of benefits that positively affect various areas of the lives of those who immerse themselves in learning it. In this course you will be able to learn from the basic principles of the instrument, such as its parts and the functionality of each of them without neglecting the parts of the bow and a little of its history, seeing how its structure has been changing. with the evolution of music and the instrument, learning how its mechanics work and talking a little about the different materials from which they can be made. You will also learn how to have a correct posture when taking the instrument, avoiding all kinds of long-term injuries and taking advantage of gravity as a resource in favor with different relaxation and naturalness exercises that will make us be one with the Violin.

I teach trumpet classes for beginner and intermediate levels. I am currently studying at the Valencia Higher Conservatory of Music. My classes are aimed at all ages and are adapted to the interests and needs of each student (online, in-person, preparation for entrance tests, support in music theory, classes adapted for children from 4 to 6 years old...)

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

For beginners wanting to delve into music theory to amateurs preparing for exams, this class will be suitable whatever standard you are. Through the forms of visual, practice and reading, you can learn the very basics of music theory and build upon your knowledge. This class can guide students currently preparing for ABRSM Grade 5 or 8 and will prepare you to take the exam. This class will cover the basics of reading and understanding sheet music, scales, modes, key signatures, learning intervals, chord symbols, progressions and many more!

As a self taught guitar player, I believe guitar is best learnt through songs you love, rather than from a book. I can take you through efficient paths to achieve your goals through my 8 years of trial and error learning guitar. I have been teaching for a year now and can also coach on high quality song writing and production as a bedroom guitarist!

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
