Hi everyone! My name is Enrico. I am a musician from Italy currently based in Valencia, Spain. In this course you will learn to - Play your favourite songs. - Read music. - Unlock your aural skills through ear training. - Improvise . - Understand how melody, rhythm, and harmony works. - Play in different styles. My Background I started playing organ in church when I was 10 years old. I quickly enrolled at my nearest Conservatory where I have been for 12 years, studying Organ and classical composition for 8 years. I continued with jazz piano studies, and graduated in 2021. I have been performing since 2016, in folk, pop and jazz ensembles around Italy and now I am continuing my music studies in Valencia, at the Berklee College of Music. You will feel inspired by the variety of concepts, practices, and assignments made just for you. I can make classes either online or in person. Modern Music, Electronic, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Classical... I am an international polyinstrumentalist with a diploma in violin from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I started playing the Piano and Violin at the age of 4 and I am an active performer throughout Europe, with 20 years of experience teaching this instrument. In addition, I have had the honor of being an official Violin Tutor of the educational sector of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, which further enriched my pedagogical background. My advanced training in Jazz and electronic music complements my approach, allowing me to offer a diversified range of both acoustic and electric violin and my repertoire ranges from classical pieces to modern music. I am pleased to present my violin classes, both acoustic and electric, specifically designed to address a wide range of musical styles and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, offering a nurturing learning environment. My methodology combines traditional elements, Russian influences and Suzuki method approaches, and I carefully adapt it to the individual needs of each student. An example program from one of my classes includes goal definition, a solid technical foundation, followed by exploration of classical and/or modern repertoire. I encourage musical expression and creativity, which allows my students to develop their own performing style. What gratifies me most as a teacher is sharing the joy of music and the passion for this versatile instrument. For me, seeing my students grow and enjoy music is a privilege. During this course you will be able to acquire all the necessary tools to learn from scratch the knowledge and skills necessary to play the violin or viola, learn to read sheet music and understand the general functioning of music through the Suzuki methodology and others. I have demonstrable experience in teaching violin and viola to children and young people at a beginner and intermediate level. Learning to play a musical instrument is not only an artistically enriching activity, but it also offers a wide range of benefits that positively affect various areas of the lives of those who immerse themselves in learning it.
