I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

You will learn how to ornament and decorate the melody. Baroque music is a lot about ornamentation. Emphasis will be given of course on expression and musicality. A big part of the harpsichordists job is to play the basso continuo. This mean that you will learn to improvise instantly in given base lines.

I have a Master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory in the Netherlands and an advanced degree from the Conservatory of the Balearic Islands. I studied violin and viola for 20 years and piano for 12 years. I have experience with both children and adults and my goal is to offer a dynamic class and to the musical taste of each student while perfecting the technique to expand the repertoire.

For about 14 years I have studied various aspects of music, I’ve studied piano, vocals and composition, and now I am studying piano in the jazz and pop course. During the lessons the students and I could play together, either playing some duos with the cello or accompanying them with the piano, which is an activity that I really enjoy. Playing together with more people and with a polyphonic instrument from the beginning will give the student clues to learn how to play in ensembles and listen to all the different voices that can be part of any musical composition.
