During our first session, we will assess your needs to better adapt the lessons to your level of English. For example, you may have a good level, but your pronunciation is difficult to understand. If you wish, we can focus on specific exercises to improve it. Or, do you have difficulty understanding English speakers who speak quickly? Then we will work together to overcome this obstacle and strengthen your listening skills!

After a BA in Applied Foreign Languages, the last year of which I spent in ERASMUS in Ireland, I obtained the certificate of Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), which proves my level C2. I adapt to your level. I offer a course part, with a precise grammatical point, and a part where we work together on written or oral comprehension, based on a video or a text, according to a theme that interests you. If we choose a text, I suggest you read it out loud, to help you with pronunciation, and then we translate it, paragraph by paragraph. The goal is not to provide a perfect translation but to become familiar with the methodology to understand a sentence even if we do not understand all the words, and also to expand your vocabulary. The process is the same for a video. If you want to practice your speaking, I also offer discussions so that you can train to be more comfortable. I also offer written expression exercises. I base the course part on the frequent gaps or errors that the student makes, in order to offer a tailor-made follow-up to improve you day by day! If you have a particular interest in an English-speaking country, I can offer you small courses in civilization (history, geography, politics, news ...)
