I give private lessons in Zwolle to students of all levels. Mainly piano lessons, but also chamber music and music theory. Students of all levels are welcome. The classes can be in English, Spanish or Dutch. The duration and frequency of lessons is flexible, depending on the age and preferences of the student. Normally for adults or teenagers the lessons are one hour long and for younger children a bit shorter, but it depends on the individual.

I specialize in Guitar and Bass lessons. We can follow a teaching method, but also choose songs with chords. I can also teach at your home if needed. You learn to play guitar in different styles; pop, rock, folk, jazz, blues I have my own sound recording studio; Baobab Studio where we can record songs or I help you create your own songs

Guitar lessons are for all levels, very beginners until Advanced players who want to improve their stage presence and interpretation skills. I also prepare students towards the entrance exams for conservatoriums. My guitar lessons include basic music theory + score reading and solfege.

In mijn lessen probeer ik mijn studenten aan het denken te zetten, zodat ze in de toekomst niet afhankelijk zijn van anderen om hun eigen keuzes te maken bij het spelen van een stuk. - GEZONDE GEWOONTEN Muzikanten kunnen gewond raken als ze niet oppassen. Daarom is het belangrijk om een goede houding, een efficiënte techniek en studiemethode te hebben. - GENIETEN Bij muziek moet het allemaal gaan om genieten. En ook in de lessen! Ik denk graag dat ik een goed gevoel voor humor heb, dus lachen is ook gegarandeerd tijdens de lessen. - PERSONALISATIE Lesgeven is niet “one size fits all”. Daarom pas ik mijn lessen aan voor elk type student. Duur, methodologie, prijs en planning worden bepaald op basis van de behoefte van de student.

I graduated as a Music Teacher and have been teaching piano for about 4 years. I also work at schools where I teach music. I work entirely on commission. Whether you need a piano teacher or a music theory teacher, I am happy to do it all.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
