Music is a powerful tool for the overall development of children, helping them improve concentration, memory, creativity, expression, etc. I'd love to share this passion with you! In classes you can bring your favorite instrument to play, we will learn through worksheets, games, songs and dances with a very fun methodology: Waldorf Methodology and Mozzart Methodology.

I am Paula, an honors student in Madrid and a student of piano and musical language since I was 6 years old. When I was little, I was a hyperactive girl, and the piano helped me a lot. Learning to play the piano has many benefits for children. Helps improve your concentration, memory and cognitive skills. It also helps to increase their confidence and self-esteem as they learn to play and perform in front of others.

My mission as a teacher is to transmit my love for music through everything I have learned throughout my studies in the last 20 years. I have experience since 2016 with individuals, colleges and schools, starting with students from scratch and also offering complementary reinforcement classes to their studies at the conservatory or school. My classes are completely adapted to the level and objectives of each student, getting to know them and trying to fully adjust to their concerns, their work rate and their personality. My teaching method is adapted to the curriculum of professional conservatories, my classes being a good option to support and reinforce the subject. For the musical initiation classes with the little ones, we begin with rhythm and height identification games, as well as proposing a first approach to music through singing and body percussion.

Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable.
