Hi! My name is María José, and I am from Spain. I have always loved learning languages, especially English, and I am truly passionate about teaching my native language to others. My classes are tailored and adapted to each individual because we are all different and have unique needs. I offer both conversational and grammar-focused lessons to suit your requirements. I have one year of teaching experience, and most of my students have been from England. My classes are personalized and adapted to each individual, as we all have different needs. While the structure of each class is discussed with my students, my teaching methodology generally includes the following sections: 1. Speaking (daily conversations) 2. Grammar and Exercises 3. Listening and Vocabulary 4. Spanish Culture 5. Spanish Expressions and Slang Here are some comments from my students: - "The classes were informative, fun and well paced. It was really nice to be able to learn of Maria and other participants" - "The teacher was very enthusiastic" - "What I most enjoyed was learning the idiomatics expressions used in Spain which is an advantage of having a native speaker as a teacher" - "It was fun and well structured" With a background in coaching, I provide my students with the option of coaching sessions to help them overcome any barriers to speaking a foreign language. The combination of Spanish lessons and coaching sessions will lead to an incredible transformation in your language skills! Contact me to start your lessons and begin speaking Spanish in a fun and engaging way! Mary

Hi, I’m Cassie—a British jazz saxophonist, award-winning composer, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire graduate, now based in Berlin. I’m currently looking for a couple of private saxophone and/or composition students who are keen to develop their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Saxophone Lessons: With a strong background in Jazz and improvised music, I offer saxophone lessons tailored to each student’s needs—whether you’re preparing for ABRSM or Royal College exams (or other equivalent examination boards), exploring jazz improvisation, or just playing for fun. As a performer, I’ve played at major festivals and venues across the UK, USA & Europe such as Glastonbury Festival (UK, SXSW (USA) and Paris Jazz Festival (FR). I am still active as a touring band-leader/artist and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching. Composition Lessons: As a classical composer, my work spans orchestral, chamber, and jazz ensemble writing, with commissions from leading arts organisations and orchestras - recent commissions include the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic. My lessons focus on notation, orchestration, and arranging—whether you’re composing for small ensembles or larger-scale works. I hold a BMus Hons degree in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London) where I studied with American composer Stephen Montague and British composer Andrew Poppy. Composition lessons I am able to teach both in-person and online via Zoom. If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to get in touch! Looking forward to making music with you! 🎷🎼
