Piano lessons: Fun-Filled journey! Lessons for children and adults!

Hello everyone!

My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire.

I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision.

After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music.

In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music.

Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions.

In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world.

I've been teaching during the last 8 years. I am flexible with the students needs and I embrace fun and creativity in my lessons.

Education

I embarked on my academic journey with a Bachelor's degree from Codarts University of Arts (2018-2022), where I immersed myself in the world of artistic expression, refining my skills and expanding my knowledge base. Eager to deepen my understanding and expertise, I pursued a Master's degree at Codarts University of Arts (2022-2024), where I delved into advanced concepts and techniques within my chosen field.
Seeking to broaden my horizons and explore the therapeutic potential of music, I further enriched my education with a University Certification in Music Therapy from Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (2023). This interdisciplinary course equipped me with valuable insights into the healing power of music and its applications in therapy. Through these educational experiences, I have cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the arts and its intersections with diverse disciplines, preparing me to make meaningful contributions in both artistic and therapeutic contexts.

Experience / Qualifications

Having accumulated extensive experience in chamber music and diverse musical styles, I now channel my focus and energy into my role within the Olga Trio. Alongside my talented colleagues, our dedication lies in showcasing the often overlooked works of women composers across epochs. Our debut at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras stands as a testament to our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. While my past ventures have allowed me to explore various musical realms and collaborate widely, my current dedication to the Olga Trio signifies a deepened focus and alignment with our mission. Embracing this newfound direction, I am wholeheartedly dedicated to furthering our collective vision and making meaningful contributions to the musical landscape.
Beyond classical realms, I've ventured into exploring various genres and styles. Joining the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023 was an enriching experience, allowing me to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds and push the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. These experiences have shaped my musical journey, fueling my passion for inclusivity and innovation in the realm of music.
With 8 years of teaching experience across different proficiency levels, I bring a wealth of pedagogical insight to my musical endeavors. From guiding beginners to mentoring advanced students, I am committed to fostering musical growth and passion while contributing actively to the vibrant musical community.

Piano lessons for reading sheet music, learning favorite pieces, improvising and more.
- In a very calm and friendly environment, the classes are organized and planned according to the students' goals/wishes. As someone who was classically trained from age 6 to 18, I believe this is very important for the students well being. - If you want to improve your piano technique while also enjoying the lesson and having a sense of improvement every week, then these lessons are for you. - My classes are for everyone that wants t play anything on the piano. Be it jazz, classical, pop, etc... Also, as a composer and pianist, I will give you a different point of view from other piano teachers. The lessons' contents will vary from student to student but may contain: - Piano technique - Music theory; - Ear training; - Popular/jazz/classical repertoire - Musical interpretation - Reading sheet music I am not able to give the lessons in Dutch, yet.

Eduardo
Saxophone, Clarinet, Piano, Impro and Music Theory lessons for all ages and levels, physically & Online by a Music Master graduate!
Hi! My name is Eduardo, a professional musician and long-time music teacher. I am offering physical and online lessons in Music Theory, Improvisation and Instrument. #Harmony #Composition #Solfège #Saxophone #Clarinet #Piano Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.). We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation. I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022. Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

Play only what you like! - Piano lessons for all levels and all styles
Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game. Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:) I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now! Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation. Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works. This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry. Music is very powerful! PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques. Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!

Drum Lessons for all levels - all styles considered!
Do you want to play in a band, play for fun at home with friends, or become a proffecional drummer? Come for a lesson in my studio and see what you'd like to learn. If you like a certain style, we will focus on it and develop your playing towards your taste. I've been playing, teaching and studying drums for over 15 years now. I take it very seriously and try to tailor my teaching to every student that I have. I can use my experience as a proffecional musician to make you progress fast and focus on things not every teacher knows from books. In this course we will focus on technique as well as creativity and improvisation (one of the most enjoyable aspects of playing drums). Do you have any other percussion instrument you'd like to expand your knowledge on? I can offer you percussion lessons as well since I have a lot of experience in playing percussion as well. If you want to study with me I can provide a stable program for development for fast results including scores, exercises, etc. About me: As well as teaching, I'm mainly a performer of music - I've been playing drums with different bands as well as classical percussion for more than 15 years now in many different settings. In the last years of my development I've taken a closer look to jazz, pop, hip hop and rock music. I can use my experience to find good qualities in my students and develop them as much as possible. I hope you consider me to be your teacher :)

Valentina
Have fun by learning how to play the clarinet and discovering how the music works!
Do you want to have fun learning how to play the most beautiful instrument in the world or improve your skills with it? I'd be delighted to do it with you! I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out. Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! I've been studying music since I'm five years old and I started with the Kodaly method that made me approach music in a very natural way! I hope to see you soon!

Want to learn piano, beginner or advanced? I can help you!
I would like to teach you to learn to play the piano. Music is an indispensable thing in life, in my opinion. The lessons will be in person at my home on location (online is possible in consultation) and the teaching method will be adapted to knowledge, technique and age. I can teach you technique as well as the fundamentals of music theory. Of course it's a lot more fun if you can also just play your favorite pieces! I believe that development of technique is better practiced by learning and applying it in actual pieces of music instead of exercise books of, for example, Alfred's piano method. Some info about me: I have been interested in classical music since my early teens. It's an incredibly important part of my life. My private teachers were main study teacher of piano and organ Jelena Bazova from the Tilburg Conservatory, Canadian concert pianist Steven Massicotte and Helmond city organist Jan van de Laar. I don't consider myself a soloist, as I had only been at the conservatory for a fairly short time, before going back to ICT and financing my concert grand piano. Some examples of my (favorite) repertoire (both complete and works in progress): * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 1 in C * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 4 in C#m * Bach WTK 1, Fugue 4 in C#m * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 24 in Bm * Bach WTK 1, Fugue 24 in Bm * Bach Harpsichord Concerto BWV 1052 in Dm * Chopin Ballades, no. 23.1 in Gm * Chopin Ballades, no. 47.3 in Ab * Chopin Scherzi, no. 39.3 in C#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.1 in Bbm * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.3 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.1 in F major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.2 in F#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 32.1 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 48.2 in F#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 62.1 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 72.1 posth. in Em * Fauré Nocturnes, no. 33.1 in Ebm * Poulenc, opera “Dialogues des Carmélites” accompaniment
