    About Me

I am a humble seeker of the truth and I love to be able to help others in the same search. I believe it does not have to be a cohercion to learn, but only following the path your own nature suggests. If you do not feel the wish to learn within you, what may even the perfect teacher do? And if you instead wish so, how can a poor teacher convince you to let it go? Therefore I, who am neither perfect nor the worst, only think my purpose is to let you realize what you want for yourself.

Greek language or Ancient Greek/ history and mythology
Greek has significantly influenced many modern languages, particularly English. A vast number of English words have Greek roots, especially in fields such as medicine, science, philosophy, and the arts. Learning Greek can help you understand the etymology of many English words and terms, enhancing your vocabulary and comprehension. For example, words like "psychology," "democracy," and "philosophy" all have Greek origins. By learning Greek, you gain the ability to read and understand both classical and modern Greek literature. Classical works by authors like Sophocles, Euripides, and Aristophanes are best appreciated in their original form, capturing nuances and meanings that translations might miss. Additionally, modern Greek literature offers rich storytelling and contemporary insights into Greek culture and society.

Learn Latin and ancient Greek as living languages, with an agrégé in classical literature, graduated from the ENS de Lyon
A LIVING METHOD Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, I will help you progress in Latin or ancient Greek, which you will learn as a living language: it will not be primarily a question of translating Latin or Greek, but above all of speaking it, reading it, writing it! FORGET YOUR DICTIONARY By doing so, you will memorize vocabulary and grammatical structures much more easily than with the classic method based essentially on translation. You will no longer spend your life in the dictionary, and eventually, you will read your favorite authors like an open book! LATIN I essentially offer a living Latin course based on the Orberg method, acclaimed by thousands of Latinists around the world. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, I can accompany you on the chapters corresponding to your level of Familia Romana (first volume) or Roma Aeterna (second volume). It is therefore important that you get this book. If you want to work on Familia Romana, I also highly recommend that you purchase the Vivarium Novum workbook to consolidate your learning: volume I for chapters I to XIX, volume II for chapters XX to XXXIV. GREEK For Greek, we will use the Logos method. It will be up to the student to obtain a copy of this manual. A LA CARTE COURSES However, I am attentive to pupils and students who are waiting for more conventional methods, particularly in the context of preparing for the baccalaureate, the competitive examinations for the grandes écoles, or even the agrégation. Version, theme, explanation of an old text: all these exercises are well known to me for having practiced them for many years. It is also possible to build a course based on your desires (excluding erotic texts and magic manuals). Do you want to follow one method rather than another? Discover a particular author? Tell me! Be careful, however, to remain realistic! We do not tackle Xenophon or Titus Livius without a solid level. Do not hesitate to contact me for any request. NB: I do not offer translation services, and even less for tattoos. Thank you for your understanding.

Ancient Greek, Latin and Spanish Language (online and face-to-face)
Hello! I am Andrés and I have a degree in Classical Philology. I teach Latin and ancient Greek classes, at all levels, both for school reinforcement and if you want to learn these two languages for pleasure. I like to teach these subjects based on new methodologies that make learning them more enjoyable and pleasant for the student. In addition, I like to complement the teaching of these languages with culture and history classes, since it is very important to know the context in which we move in each class. Anyway, I adapt to the needs of each student. I also teach Spanish Language and Literature reinforcement classes, both for Primary, ESO, Baccalaureate students, and those who take the University entrance exams. Flexible schedule.

You can choose one of the following three part as your learning content Chinese daily conversation: You will be introduced to the basics of the Chinese language, its structure, and its unique features, including the writing system, tones, and grammar. Special attention will be paid to the complexity and beauty of Chinese characters, as well as the ways in which language reflects culture. Chinese Literature: This part of the course will provide an overview of China’s literary heritage, ranging from ancient poetry and classical novels to modern works. Key texts, such as the Book of Songs, Tao Te Ching, Journey to the West, and works by influential modern authors like Lu Xun, will be analyzed in terms of their historical context, thematic concerns, and artistic styles. Lessons in Latin / Ancient Greek - Unterricht in Latin / Altgriechisch
=============================== Latin becomes easy if you know how to decipher it. I offer you a keychain. In our lessons, I address your needs individually and give you tips on how you can improve step by step. My teaching method is based on examples so that you can quickly apply what you have learned. Write to me briefly about where you are in your language learning and what you want to achieve. About me: I won an ancient language competition while I was still in school, then studied Latin and ancient Greek in Cologne, Oxford and the USA and completed my PhD in Classical Studies. For 15+ years I have been teaching Latin and ancient Greek to students from secondary school to the end of their university studies. I have offered ancient language instruction at high schools and universities. In high school I first fell in love with ancient languages and continued by researching ancient writings and cultures from Homer to late antiquity. I particularly like that ancient literature covers all topics - myths, philosophy, poetry, wars, politics, history, science... I have always enjoyed teaching, especially when I can respond to the interests of my students!

38-year-old PhD student offers classes and tutoring at secondary and university levels for any area of Humanities
I have taken a few years off to complete my PhD in History and I would not like to stop teaching and learning in the meantime. I guess it is a cliché, but it is amazing what I have learned by teaching. If anything can distinguish me, it is that my personal experience has shown me that, when it comes to learning, complexities such as age are simply that. Experience in national and international schools. Possibility of classes in English (C1).

Business school student (EDHEC) gives math and English lessons from middle school to high school in Lille. Experience as a tutor at EDHEC
I mainly teach math lessons from middle school to high school. Before starting the lessons, I need to get in touch with the student to know their level, the areas where they want to improve and their objectives. Depending on the level, I adapt the work seen in class to the different points of improvement and suggest exercises consistent with what the student is stuck on. At the same time, I go over point by point the elements that were not for the student (in the Ds and the questions) I rework the exercises seen in class. Finally, and this is the most important, I advise the student on his working methods, with what state of mind to approach the exercises. I can also provide homework help in subjects other than mathematics: I got 17 in the HEC philosophy exams and I didn't get below 18 in subjects such as SES, Philosophy and history in the BAC. I recommend at least one math lesson per week in order to take stock of the week; it is regularity that allows progress. As a Tutor at EDHEC I already have experience of courses with high schools. I am a calm, composed and educational person. In terms of math, I got 18 in my math baccalaureate and then I went to a HEC preparatory class at Louis-Le-Grand in advanced math where I had more than 12 hours of math per week.
