I am a professional musicologist and violinist with a master's degree from a conservatory. I teach using special methods that I developed over my 20 years of experience. I create myself special music gadgets in order to make the learning process interesting and enjoyable, especially for the often feared subject of Music Theory.

My name is Lauren I am a violist and composer based in Schöppingen, Germany. I received my Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance at The Juilliard School in 2019, and have since taught music lessons online and in-person since 2013. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 3-80. I teach classical music, improvisation, even electronics, if that is of interest. I always cater to the needs and interests of my students, creating an individualized lesson plan for them. I have studied Alexander Technique, and always emphasize the importance of physical health and comfort in my instrumental teaching. When teaching composition - I enjoy discovering the creativity of each student, helping them find their individual voice. I can teach Dorico Notation Software, Adobe Illustrator, Logic Pro X, and Ableton. I currently teach students internationally, and can accomodate other time zones. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).
