I give jazz / blues / funk / pop piano lessons for pianists who already have a basic technical background, and piano lessons for beginner pianists. I specialize in teaching jazz and improvised music but open to all types of music. We decide together on the repertoire. My method is adapted to each (e) and respects the rhythm of the student, including the notions of music theory and harmony necessary for his level. Our lessons will take place at Rue de Poitou Paris or Rue Richer Paris or at home (a surplus for travel) at your choice. I hold a BMus(hons) in Bass Guitar and have served in HM Royal Marines Band Service for 8 years specialising in Bass Guitar, Tuba and Double Bass. As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I have been providing private lessons for the past decade. My teaching approach is tailored to your individual needs and wants. We can have fun learning your favourite songs and exploring different genres or, we can dive deeper into harmony and theory, aural skills, sight reading and advanced playing techniques.
