Professor of Saxophone and Flute graduated from the American School of Modern Music. 20 years of experience as a music school and home teacher and 25 years of stage and studio experience. Courses adapted according to the level, the choice and the musical tastes of the student (jazz, funk, groove, world music, classical, rock, ...). Reading, harmony, phrasing and improvisation classes. Hey, my name is Artur. I am saxophone player and teacher. I finished recently Jazz Institut Berlin (University of Arts in Berlin). I would like to share my experience in saxophone playing for all kind of levels. I have a lot of experience in music. I am playing around 200 concerts a year. I propose saxophone lessons for anyone wishing to put on the saxophone or deepen his mastery of the instrument in a fun way, the idea is to learn while having fun. I adapt the difficulty of the pieces and the exercises according to the time of practice which the student disposes, thus the progress is observed much more quickly. Learn to play to decipher scores and improvise by ear or by reading and analyzing chord charts. This course will adapt to your level of play: simple harmonies for beginners and more complex depending on the degree of mastery of the instrument. This course also includes a thorough introduction to harmony.

With beginner saxophone students, we will first work on proper instrument holding and posture. Then, before blowing into the saxophone, we will practice long-tone exercises using the mouthpiece. Once comfortable with these fundamentals, we will start producing sound from the instrument and learning the notes. We will focus on long-tone exercises to develop control and consistency. We gradually start incorporating short exercises or simple melodies as the student progresses. Learning and progressing on an instrument mostly depends on the student's dedication and practice habits. If you love music and commit time to it, you can reach a good level in a short period!

My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player. I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor. I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco. In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso. I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe. I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop. I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3). Hi, I’m Cassie—a British jazz saxophonist, award-winning composer, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire graduate, now based in Berlin. I’m currently looking for a couple of private saxophone and/or composition students who are keen to develop their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Saxophone Lessons: With a strong background in Jazz and improvised music, I offer saxophone lessons tailored to each student’s needs—whether you’re preparing for ABRSM or Royal College exams (or other equivalent examination boards), exploring jazz improvisation, or just playing for fun. As a performer, I’ve played at major festivals and venues across the UK, USA & Europe such as Glastonbury Festival (UK, SXSW (USA) and Paris Jazz Festival (FR). I am still active as a touring band-leader/artist and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching. Composition Lessons: As a classical composer, my work spans orchestral, chamber, and jazz ensemble writing, with commissions from leading arts organisations and orchestras - recent commissions include the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic. My lessons focus on notation, orchestration, and arranging—whether you’re composing for small ensembles or larger-scale works. I hold a BMus Hons degree in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London) where I studied with American composer Stephen Montague and British composer Andrew Poppy.
