With over a decade of experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral cellist, Daniel brings a wealth of expertise to his teaching. He tailors his lessons to each student's individual needs, regardless of age or experience. Daniel's teaching philosophy centers around building a strong foundation, which serves as a springboard for musical expression. His approach draws from various methodologies such as ABRSM, AMEB, Kodaly, Tortelier, and Feuillard schools, Suzuki method, and his own compositions, resulting in a customized strategy for each student.

Concert violinist, I guide students of all ages wishing to become professionals in their learning of the instrument, the choices of interpretation, the preparation for the entrance exams to the grandes écoles, international competitions, orchestra competitions... I occasionally take beginners when the motivation of the student is at the meeting. :-)

I offer private cello lessons, at your home or mine! I really like teaching, I have had cello students (music theory and tutoring as well) for 6 years and my contact with them is always very good. I am passionate about teaching, about how different personalities work and the issues specific to them and I am therefore always looking for new ways to teach them this beautiful instrument. Hello, I am currently studying at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Boulogne-Billancourt. I offer violin, viola and music theory lessons for students of all ages, and all levels (beginners or not). I can follow an already existing method, give "support" courses to a student already in a school or even follow my own method, which I developed during these 4 years of teaching. With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires. I attach great importance to creating a caring and relaxed atmosphere where the student can flourish and develop both a solid technique and learn self-confidence. We will also discuss how to work efficiently and calmly and we will develop the qualities necessary to express yourself freely with your instrument. If necessary, the basics of music theory will be learned gradually. Although I have a classical background I enjoy teaching a variety of music (Celtic, folk, klezmer, tango, jazz, films...) and I encourage my students to discover the most beautiful melodies in the repertoire and sometimes even to improvise or compose together. My bachelor's degree at the Conservatory of Ghent (Belgium) taught me what music interpretation is. At the Peter Cornelis Conservatory I learned the important basics of cello and music teaching.
