Who hasn't dreamed of sitting down at the piano and playing? I started music almost 40 years ago. With a great experience of the scene, I can help you develop your ear, to learn the bases of the piano, the technical and theoretical notions which will allow you to better understand this language and to become independent. I also teach reading American writing so that I can read a jazz standard or a pop song. I can guide you through some exercises to improve your technique. Whether you are amateur or experienced, if you wish, we will address the vast universe of improvisation.

< about the course > I give piano lessons for people of all ages and levels from 5 years old, mainly students and adults. I respect each student's individuality and approach each from a different perspective. I propose a method adapted to each student. Having traveled through Korea, Poland, Germany and France, I have taught piano to students of different nationalities, and I aim to increase students' potential based on my many musical experiences and performance activities. I can help with many areas including touch, intonation, listening and music theory. Additionally, I can give advice on how to express music and creative expressions. Of course, depending on the level of the piano, the work can be chosen by the student or I can recommend it. I teach on an upright piano at home. From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

This course is above all there to make you want to play the guitar, let it be a pleasure! It will be based on the practice of the instrument, on the understanding and role of the guitar.
