Tabla is an Indian Drum. I teach traditional style to beginners to advanced level students. I am a Ph.D holder in Tabla and I am a disciple of Ustad Ilmas Husain Khan of Lucknow Tabla Gharana and I was tabla teacher in University of Visual and Performing Arts in Sri Lanka .

The drums are an instrument that has become essential to many musical genres. It can be metamorphosed at will but does not produce melodies, its mission is to keep the tempo and to give power and / or groove to the orchestral ensemble. I am a professional drummer with two recognised UK bands and currently represented by acclaimed industry professionals. I currently live in Paris and offer tutoring in all levels, specialising in finding your own style although I am more than happy to teach someone who has never picked up a pair of drumsticks before.
