My name is Roman and I have been a composer of electronic music for about ten years. A multi-instrumentalist, I began my musical adventure by playing the guitar and then the piano. After obtaining my Brevet d'Études Musicales, I trained in Computer-Assisted Music (MAO), composition, audio mixing and mastering techniques. I work on Ableton Live software. Today, as an artist-author, I regularly partner with other artists and contribute to a wide variety of live performance and music-for-image projects. For the 2024-2025 season, I am participating in several artistic residencies and stage performances. Electronic music, perhaps with its interdisciplinary nature, is a vast field to get into, a world of creativity and art, science and technology, and philosophy and thoughts. The course of electroacoustic composition (in other words computer-assisted composition) follows the interdisciplinary fundamentals of the topic. During these courses, we will speak and work on electronic music aesthetics and musical discourses, form and structure, and indeed the utils of using software such as Ableton, Max, Supercollider, VCV RACK, reaper et cetera, to be able to materialize the musical idea with electronic tools. Students can create and compose electronic music, sound designs, multimedia art (music and ... ), installations and performances, etc during and after the courses.

A young musician and artist by training, I have been practicing music since a very young age. My influences are mainly concentrated around contemporary electronic music (Electro, Techno, Hip Hop, Ambient and Experimental Music). Having multiple experiences in the sound professions, I had the opportunity to record in a professional studio and worked as a sound technician on stages of different scales including a variety of different musical genres. Open-minded and with good teaching skills, I began by introducing those around me to computer-assisted music and the use of electronic instruments. I started music by learning guitar and bass before introducing myself to electronic production with and without software to now master digital and algorithmic music programming. These courses are intended for beginners (uninitiated to intermediate level). A first exchange will be intended to assess the student's level and to understand their expectations and the desired objectives to be achieved. The content of the learning program will be adapted through the student's creative references and influences. Tabla is an Indian Drum. I teach traditional style to beginners to advanced level students. I am a Ph.D holder in Tabla and I am a disciple of Ustad Ilmas Husain Khan of Lucknow Tabla Gharana and I was tabla teacher in University of Visual and Performing Arts in Sri Lanka .

I give piano and music theory lessons with my own method. The music theory part is not purely theoretical but always mixed with practice. My method emphasizes the deciphering of scores, given that the objective is to allow the student to be as independent as possible thereafter. It will also have a technical aspect, but I prefer to have her work directly with pieces rather than dry exercises.
