I am a vocalist and a music practitioner. I am a disciple of Vidushi Sanhita Nandi ji of the Kirana Gharana. I have completed my masters in Classical Music (Vocal) and aim to spread the knowledge gained by my Gurus among those who are sincere and/or passionate for learning Hindustani Classical Music and light music. The focus of my classes are aimed at the systematic development and aesthetic appeal of Ragas. For students willing to learn music seriously but with little exposure to learning, I begin with various vocal exercises for pitch accuracy and voice culture. The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. I have been giving private music lessons and fortepiano for a long time. In addition to my classical music education in 2000, I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychopedagogy in 2006. This year I am interested in expanding my practice to include more students with special needs. I learned about the different ways music can help students with special needs. It helps them express their emotions and develop their memories and self-regulatory skills. It can show them strengths that they might not otherwise find during their school day.
