Sociology (For Beginners or GCSE / A-Levels Students)

A-Level Psychology, Sociology and English Language along with GCSE essay subjects can be very daunting at first, however, with my structures and tailored lessons in light of the elements and topics you are experiencing difficulty with, I am confident that I will be able to support you in achieving the top grade band (A*-B). Whether it is memorisation of content at A-Level, exam technique or application, as an individual who achieved A*'s and A's throughout GCSE and A Level, I know exactly what it feels like to have to memorise and give an exam for a difficult subject and can thus work closely with you to support, aid and direct you to unlocking your full potential.

Psychology is a discipline that combines , human behaviour and their mental state. Integrating psychology and science will enable the student to create a solid foundation before the move forward with their higher studies . I shall be teaching the basics of psychology as well as a specific topic(s) the student wants to focus on . Such as the history of psych , the different systems and schools present , foundation al principles and theories of psychology . To be a decisive student , all you need is a thorough foundation and that is what we shall be doing .

Psychology has become a sought-after course in recent years, with more and more children enrolling in it either in school or when they go to university. However, a lot of educational institutions focus solely on the theoretical perspective of psychology and techniques associated with therapy, with little to no impact on the real world being assessed. As a practitioner and student in the field, I like to combine theory and practicality when I teach. This helps the child learn the concept better with an actual experience. I feel that experience-based learning makes concept learning and understanding more effective. I will also help in framing answers for the exam-based questions and will also look into taking practice papers for the same. When it comes to languages, both English and Hindi have been a pivotal part of my schooling, and Hindi is spoken at home to this day. I believe that grammar and spoken English are at the top of the pedestal, and it is with confidence building that we can work on understanding English as a language. Hindi too as a language will require greater grammatical understanding so as to make the writing part of it more effective. As your tutor, I will tap onto all aspects, writing, speaking, and grammar, so that we leave no stone unturned and help you progress in this avenue better.

I am a Doctor of Psychology and researcher. Since October 2016 I have been successfully tutoring many B.A. and M.A. and Ph.D. level students and professionals who required help with Psychology (AS, A-level, and Degree level), Data analysis, SPSS, jamovi, JASP, R, Statistics, Research Methods, or were looking for assistance with their research projects/ theses/ dissertations. I am specialised in Clinical Psychology (reading disability/ dyslexia), although I have good knowledge in other fields of psychology, as well as research methodology and data analysis (expert in SPSS). Helping you with the AQA content for the A Level psychology course. I completed this course and received an A* and have gone on to do an MSci Applied Clinical Psychology course where I am on track to receive a high 2:1/1st class degree. Lessons will last 1 hour and will be tailored to the student's specific learning needs, for example audio, visual, etc. Before taking on a student I like to know what grade they are currently working at, and what grade they hope to achieve, how they feel they best learn, the areas their strengths lie in, and the areas that they seek help in.
