I am a graduate in Economics, securing a first class honors, with straight As back in school. I have 6 years of tutoring experience, including teaching at schools too. My approach to teaching is more student centric, with the focus of individual needs of the student, not a general teaching style. Hence the practice work, strategy and ways are customised. There is no one size fits all. I do make sure however to be a friend of my students rather than a strict teacher, in a way that thye remember even after leaving. I love children since always and teaching fulfils me. I feel happy to see children learn, grow, and become more confident after bettering their skills. I hate to see students and give up simply due to lack of motivation from school.

I have tried and tested methods of preparing students for their exams whether it be helping them understand essay technique, close reading of texts, understanding literary techniques, preparing revision material or learning how to speak and/or write persuasively. According to the needs of the student, I can also assign homework so that the student can maintain their engagement with the topic until the next session. I believe everyone learns differently, and it is my responsibility as a tutor to understand the tutee's learning style so that I can tailor my lessons to the student at hand. This gives them a better chance at grasping linguistic and literary concepts, and, as a result, reaching their full potential.

Learn French/History/Philosophy with a second Year 19 year old university Student at UCL, French native speaker. We can work on a school program, and I also offer my own structure if needed. I can especially help for preparation for the French baccalaureate, having graduated with High Honours (18,5/20) and being familiar with the new programs. By reading it regularly, progress will be faster. It can also be used in addition to other documents (files printed by school teachers and/or books) and has many advantages: automatic updating, downloadable on tablets and smartphones, simultaneous monitoring of what is writing. For help with writing: The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The student will thus be able to learn to structure his ideas, argue coherently (and convincingly) and enrich his vocabulary.
