1:1 Tutoring: History and Geography for 10-17 y/o (CAIE, Edexcel, IB)

This is a 1:1 ongoing class that meets once a week. The tutoring session will cover a topic each week. Pack with interactive and fun lessons with listening, reading, writing, and speaking activities! Ideal for pupils starting English at the age of five to twelve. It can be used with children who are total beginners or who have done some English at pre-school. The course gives the children more vocabulary, more cross-curricular content, more language practice, and more resources than most primary courses. Students will have opportunities to read, listen, talk about stories, sing songs and chants, play games, and ask and answer questions. More skills development activities for speaking, reading, and writing. More grammar practice. More support for Cambridge English: Young Learners; More opportunities to activate language; More opportunities for speaking; More reading text types; More writing support. There are extension activities that students can do in their own time (optional). Week 1: Introduction, Hello! (Greetings, Characters, Colours, Numbers)/ At the Adventure Camp Week 2: The School show (Family members)/ Art Week 3: The picnic; Me and My World (Food and Drink)/ Feeling great Week 4: The toy cupboard (Toys)/ At school Week 5: Puppets (Parts of the body)/ At the aquarium Week 6: At the farm (Animals)/ The new computer Week 7: At the park (Action verbs)/ On the farm Week 8: New clothes (Clothes)/ Favourite animals Week 9: House and home (Parts of the house)/ At the bike track Week 10: Me and My World and Revision UPDATE! Lessons are tailored based on student's English level and needs. I have materials for lower/ higher level students who are in different age group. Follow on materials include: Incredible English 2-6.
