I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

I am an international contemporary art curator with 15 years experience working with public and private collections. I am currently undertaking a PhD, developing alternative contemporary art narratives within heritage collections. This course is intended to students andadults who want to familiarise with curatorial practice prior to undertake a Master, to current students in curatorial pracitce for further advice and tutorials, as well as to emergent artists or students in contemporay art who ned further support in working with a space. Due to the flexible nature of the course, what I offer is: * Courses on the theoretical foundations of curating and 'the curatorial', * Tutorials in planning, conceptualising and delivering exhibitions, * Tutorials in planning, conceptualising and delivering programmes of events and workshops, * Creating meaningful dialogues between artworks in a space * Developing interpretation material corresponding to your own project.

I have taken a few years off to complete my PhD in History and I would not like to stop teaching and learning in the meantime. I guess it is a cliché, but it is amazing what I have learned by teaching. If anything can distinguish me, it is that my personal experience has shown me that, when it comes to learning, complexities such as age are simply that. This is a dynamic class which can encompass many areas of the fashion design process, this can included practical skills such as learning Adobe suite, pattern cutting, portfolio making and other skills to wider advice for university or career. I received my BA from Central Saint Martins and went on to work at Tom Ford, Phoebe Philo and Maison Givenchy as well as time working freelance over this period I was lucky enough to learn some valuable traits or skills which really help getting that first start at a fashion job or that could prove incredibly helpful during your fashion education. I feel as good as fashion education can be sometimes they have blindspots and don't always completely prepare their students for the realties of industry and I have helped many students to receive interviews and opportunities at companies which they never believed possible for themselves as well a helped to demystify what a career in fashion actually is and how to best prepare for it.

History and Political Science are intertwined subjects with multidisciplinary approaches. To study one of these, one must understand the other. I offer classes that teach either of the two subjects, as well as both (if required) with aspect to the other. How often have we wondered about historical events with respect to Politics? Do we know that the Romanovs were related to the British Royal Family and how their brutal killings was shaped by geopolitics of the era, or how Hitler's death was a highly controversial political debate? You see how history and politics cannot be separated. It is also undeniable that having knowledge of the two subjects can help you achieve higher marks and credits, as well as a deeper understanding and passion for the subjects.

With this tutoring class, my aim is to help the student to reach a level of understand of historical event with a methodology that is appropriate for the student and helps him/her. It can be a revision of basic notions seen in school or it can be the preparation of an exam .

Even if you don't have any prior knowledge in these fields, the class will be a fascinating road of discovery -- we will learn "how to read a chair"; what is "design"; what is the meaning behind the way fashion has evolved and what it teaches us about culture and society; and so much more. About your tutor, I am an academic with nearly two decades of experience in the higher education sector and I have taught widely on cultural history. This class will bring together the originality and range of expertise of a university course with the flexibility and fun of a bespoke one-on-one course.

History is what connects the present to the past and helps us to predict the future. In my class, you will learn modern european history, in particular the history of Germany from 1918 to 1989. You will be taught by a world class teacher that has studied European history to a high level, gaining an A in the subject. The key aspects of the history of Germany will be broken down into manageable chunks for students to understand more easily.
