I have a cheerful, understanding, encouraging, helpful and friendly character alongside a good voice -given by Allah SWT- that helps me with grabbing the attention of the students, and parents, and meeting their needs and expectations Alhamdulillah.
My methodology in teaching the Qur'an is to make sure that the student read the verses (A'yas) very easily and to explain them in a way that's simple for him to relate. Then his turn comes by advising him to listen repeatedly and show him practically how to do it and how to even find time in his stuffed day alongside using other techniques that suit the student and meet up with his needs on both the educational and psychological parts .
As for the Tajweed and the Arabic Foundation course, the process of teaching is divided into 4 major steps:
1) Explaining the meaning of the rule.
2) Giving various examples from the Qur’an.
3) Reading and applying the rule practically.
4) Making sure that he has acquired the rule, understood it very well and now he's able to apply it like me and read it from the mus-haf.
