Vaganova ballet (method of the Bolshoi and Marinskii theatres) group classes
What was Mikhail Barishnikov, Rudolf Nureyev, Natalia Osipova, and all the other Russian dancers’ secret to success? The one thing they all have in common is their training in the Russian ballet method of Vaganova. This professional method has been developed over the decades to become the most effective method in the world. The grandeur of the legendary Russian Bolshoi and Marinskii theatres speak for themselves. For this reason, I have gone to Russia to study for my bachelors in this method at the University of Moscow, and together with my collective experience in teaching ballet, am waiting to train you to become the next ballet legend.
WHAT DO CLASSES LOOK LIKE? Each lesson is 1 hour 30 minutes, the sweet spot between length of attention span, physical endurance span, and building stamina. Ballet classes are structured according to the Russian ballet method of Vaganova, and body conditioning classes include professionally developed exercises specifically for dancers. I customize lessons to work on what my students most need, and therefore weak spots are attended to until they are wiped out. Lessons are conducted online in the convenience of your own home, saving both time and transport costs.
WILL YOU BENEFIT FROM THESE LESSONS? My lessons are for you if you any one of the following scenarios describes your situation:
1) YOU DO NOT ATTEND ANY OTHER BALLET CLASSES - classes include a full syllabus, examinations are optional, and you can therefore attend my online lessons as your only source of ballet.
2) YOU ALREADY ATTEND OTHER BALLET LESSONS - I also offer the option for you to take these classes as a supplementary addition to classes at your studio in order to boost your scores in exams and competitions, and improve your technique, strength, allegro, and stability in pirouettes, balance, and pointe. This gives you the chance of becoming the new class hero, and enjoy the freedom of dancing without worrying about stamina, faulty technique, low leg height, weak allegro, and gruesome posture.
3) YOU ARE A DANCER, BUT YOU DO NOT DO BALLET - my body conditioning classes are beneficial for dancers of all genres. It teaches complete control over the body, promoting stability, strength, leg height, good balance and stamina.
WHAT LEVELS DO I TEACH? I currently teach beginner, intermediate and semi-advanced levels (RAD levels would translate as all levels up to Advanced 1), for children from age 10+ and adults. Although I am qualified to teach higher levels, I currently do not have time to choreograph full classes at such high intensity and complication.
ABOUT DANÉ - I am an experienced ballet teacher who loves ballet, people and teaching. To make it more interesting, here is my experience starting now and going backward: Currently I am studying at the university of Moscow where I have been voted the best student of the institute by my lecturers, and have attained cum laude so far in all my subjects. I began studying for my bachelors in Moscow September 2020. I have 14 subjects including the Russian ballet method of Vaganova and several other dance styles, body conditioning for dancers, choreography, music and acting. Due to current events I study online from South Africa for now. In my free time I teach ballet and write scripts for productions, sometimes staging my choreography when time allows. Prior to this, I studied Russian for a year in Kazan, Russia (this is a requirement if you study choreography in Moscow). Before going to Russia I founded and directed my own ballet school in Johannesburg from 2017-2019, and staged 3 productions. During this time I trained with the Russian School of Ballet in South Africa, attained a distinction for my exam and took part in their production at the Roodepoort State Theatre. Before this I trained with the RAD with many distinctions up to Advanced 1, but changed to the Russian method just before taking my Advanced 2 exam (if you take classes with me you will understand why;)). Furthermore, I won countless gold, A+ and special awards in festivals, eisteddfods and competitions, several of them including my own choreography. I was part of a theatre group from 2016-2017, where I performed the lead role in the Roodepoort State Theatre. I have done ballet since 2003, and was schooled in an American syllabus from grade 1 to graduation.
All you need is a computer/laptop with a camera, ballet clothes and shoes, enough space, a bar (chair/table/etc.), and most important of all - a passion for dance, a desire to learn, and a smile :)

Ballet class (Vaganova School), audition and contest preparation for intermediate and advanced studentsIn addition to ballet classes and stretching, I also provide audition preparation and competition training variations.
My ballet class is typically divided into two parts: Barre and Center, which include adagio, pirouettes, and jumps. We can reserve time for pointe technique upon request as well. During classes, attention is given not only to the technical aspects of the combinations provided but also to their musicality and the logic of movements. Detailed analysis is also provided on which muscles should be engaged in each movement and what sensations the student should experience when executing the steps correctly.
It would be great if you could share a video of your class or variation performance before our first class. This will allow me to assess your level and make our lesson as productive as possible.
My schedule is flexible, so the table below may not include all possible hours for our class. Write to me and indicate your preferences. I will answer you as soon as possible!
Very soon you will see the summer offer. Believe me, it will be wonderful!
Save my page or write me a short message - "Summer Ballet Classes". You will be the first to receive information and priority for booking summer classes.

Dance & Therapy session | Transcendental EmbodimentAre you seeking for a creative and uplifting way to consciously reconnect with yourself ? Transcendental Embodiment is a dance practice that will guide you to embrace your emotions and help you to reach your true authentic self. Through meditative dances, guided imageries, and energy healing modalities.
I am here to support and guide you in your process of discovering your inner power through:
- chakras alignment, guided meditation, breathing exercises
- self-expression & subjective experience through dance
- expanding your heart space, emotional awareness, and healing in movement and dance
- release of stress, judgment, and trapped emotions
- grounding, self-care, resilience
- and more...
The sessions are tailored to the specific needs and capabilities of each individual.
*Dance can be a practice of introspection, transformation, and transcendence of one’s subjective experiences into a worldwide journey.
*
As a professional dancer, teacher, and performance maker I am introspectively processing each working day in consciousness, listening to my upcoming emotions, triggers, or anxiety when it comes to be physically and mentally performative in a team, or as a freelance artist.
Instead of suppressing these emotions and creating energetical and mental blockages (that can end up into somatic pains or burn-out): we should pay more attention to these inner warning messages and strengthen our emotional intelligence to be able to cope with the infinitesimal external stimulus and daily-stress of our very fast lives.
It can be challenging to sense with clarity what is the origin of some feelings of frustration, unsatisfaction, discomfort, or grief, and it can be intimidating or discouraging to walk alone on that path.
This class helps you to commit to your better-being, presence to oneself countering wellness procrastination.
* What do you need to feel lighter, brighter, or happier in your everyday life? *
* What is your self-achievement potentiality? *
- For who? : For anyone who enjoys movement and dance, and desires a better connection and understanding with their moving bodies. / One-to-one or group sessions.
- Where? : Online via SKYPE or at the student's location.
Values: Integrity, Transparency, Respect, Cooperation
* About TE :
Transcendental Embodiment (TE) is the result of three years of research and development. Merging from a movement philosophy research entitled Behind & Beyond, to its phenomenological understanding. The metaphysical unity of the tangible and intangible bodies expounds on the undeniable relationships between those in the physical realm. The tangible body (the material vehicle), the intangibles bodies (psychological, emotional, energetical, and spiritual). As a dance healing practice, guiding the practitioner to conscious corporeality, and subjective emotional understanding, this methodology can also be a useful tool to improve artistry and technical skills on a deeper level, widening mindful creativity, awareness, empathy, and sensitivity.
(TE) movement and dance methodology combines a meditative approach in stillness and through movement, awakening the mind, spreading the awareness into different body parts; putting a specific emphasis on improvisation skills, and musicality, following energy impulses and intuitive movement and increasing the flow of energy. Inviting the practitioners to practice resilience, non-self definition, non-judgment, self-care and self-love, integrity, and acceptance to overcome technical, physical, and mental limits holding the practitioner from his self-achievement potentiality. This approach builds itself crescendo on subjective movement reflexivity and introspective journey through the following process:
* The four steps:
Being | Investigation | Exploration | Dedication
Unconscious - Subconscious - Conscious - Transcendental Consciousness

🥇 Ritmo Latino: Private lessons of SALSA and BACHATA in Geneva or at your home 🏠. Beginner, intermediate, advanced levels. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️● All levels ● All ages ● Flexibility to suit your musical tastes.
💃 Hello everyone!! Get ready to add some spice to your moves and dive into the electrifying world of Latin music! My name is Evelyn, a dance enthusiast from Peru, currently residing in Geneva while pursuing my master's degree.
🎶 I invite you to join my exciting dance classes, where I will guide you through the infectious rhythms of salsa, bachata, and zumba, infusing each lesson with the unique flavors of Latin American culture.
🎯 My main goal is your comfort, because to me, dance is a way to express yourself and live life fully. I want my students to enjoy every step without any pressure and to experience the joy of moving to Latin rhythms. My classes are open to all ages. I look forward to awakening the dancer within you and connecting you with the rhythms that make our hips sway and our hearts sing!
☘️ When I start working with students, they often repeat the same patterns—mechanical, rigid steps memorized from 1 to 7. Dancing becomes a mere imitation rather than a natural expression.
I’m here to help you transform what you’ve learned in group classes and take your dancing to the next level.
In my classes, I teach you to feel salsa and bachata. If you feel them, you’ll be able to dance anywhere, with anyone, with confidence and flow. We’ll work from the foundation:
✔️ You’ll learn to identify and follow the rhythm.
✔️ You’ll understand transitions and how to adapt to them.
✔️ You’ll develop your skills in partner dancing.
From the very first class, we’ll correct what’s necessary so that you don’t just improve—you build a solid foundation that allows you to express yourself naturally. Are you ready to feel the dance? 💃🔥
🌟 P.S.: Besides teaching Latin dances, I have experience in creating custom choreographies for weddings and special events. If you have a choreography in mind, feel free to share it, and we’ll learn it together!
