Singer and English teacher, I offer coaching specific to English for singing in current music (all styles). My approach focuses on two main axes: diction and text. As far as singing is concerned, we will work on pronunciation and accent, the formation of vowels and consonants specific to English, and the correction of tonic accents. We will consolidate your interpretation together from a deep understanding of the song lyrics. Finally, I propose to assist you in writing in order to ensure the grammatical meaning as well as the poetic meaning of your texts, so that they gain in quality. My work is aimed at anyone wishing to improve their sung English and / or the quality of their texts in English, whatever their mother tongue and their level of vocal technique. I teach remotely by video (Skype, Zoom) and by phone if possible (mainly when it comes to writing). We can also arrange a meeting place in Paris (possibly provide travel costs). Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.
