A powerful Digital Audio Workstation that allows musicians and beginner producers to record a whole album if they wish. I'll teach you how to remake a song/piece of your choosing from the ground up. You'll use the inbuilt virtual instruments, your own voice, and your guitar/keyboard to rebuild your chosen track or give it your own unique stamp. Music production is a huge topic so I'll teach you the essential musical skills such as ear training, understanding rhythm, and basic harmony. You'll learn basic recording skills using the iPad mic or an interface and we'll use virtual/real instruments to record the parts. You'll learn how to edit and I'll show you how to create an interesting song structure and how to layer multiple tracks so they don't clash! Finally, we'll look at mixing, effects, and EQ to give your track a professional polish!

Our teacher using, if necessary, an electro-acoustic guitar to better accompany your voice and guide some of its subtleties, the teaching philosophy is adapted to each level, according to the pace of work and motivation. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
