In my lessons I will guide you through the music creation process, from the composition of a song/piece to the arrangement and all the steps it takes to produce it and mix it. Depending on your goals I will tailor your music production lessons aiming to cover all the creative and technical aspects you are interested in learning and exploring, providing you with feedbacks as well as showing you the necessary tools you might need to improve your work and widen your musical competences. A firm grasp of the theory of musical harmony is essential for every musician, at every level. This is an important aspect of music education, regardless of specialisation (performer, composer, analyst). This course will not only give you a strong foundation in the construction and manipulation of harmony but also will help you apply this knowledge in various different scenarios.

I teach music theory equal to a-level. The purpose of this course is to bring students closer to a conservatory experience, where learning is not limited to "how-to" tutorials and lectures. In this class, we will be exploring music by learning your favorite songs from any genre you enjoy. I will personalize the lessons to your needs and make sure we cover all the fundamentals that will set you on the right track! I will teach you how to: - learn songs by ear, (pop, jazz r&b, funk, fusion, hip-hop, and whatever you like honestly) - improvise, - compose, - understand music theory (harmony, rhythm, scales, progressions, sight-reading etc.) - produce and sound design in Ableton. About me: Education: I started playing music at 7 years old, went through 12 years of music school, and then moved to Amsterdam and spent 4 years learning jazz guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Vlad is an electronic music producer and composer with more than a decade experience in producing sound design and bespoke productions and compositon for movie, theatre, games and live events. He worked with companies such as Yamaha, Dior & Ellie Saab. As flash education is the new trend on the web, I try to identify myself as someone that does not take pride in giving "tips&tricks" classes rather to build toghether a path towards nolt only the understanding of the musical concepts, but towards their discovery. Through the use of Ableton Live I will cover music theory and it's appplication to the digital and analog world, exploring electronic and acoustic music, providing by time to time free tools and subsequent explanaition on how to use them, to build not only an in depth knowledge, but an efficient workflow.
