This class is aimed at anyone willing to learn Russian or Ukrainian. I also offer English practice for beginner students. Russian may seem difficult at the first sight, but I will do my best to prove it is not so hard as it seems! The class is suitable for all people (kids, students, adults) who would like to study Russian for various reasons. I always create a personal program for every student in order to satisfy different levels of Russian and adapt towards specific needs. The focus is, of course, put on studying vocabulary, grammar and most importantly speaking. The student can already say some basics starting from the first class. As soon as some basics are learned, communication will be practiced in a creative ad customized way. I will show various videos, texts and exercises to do together and provide written homework for further practice. My name is Faten I am an Arabic language teacher for more than ten years, I graduated from the Teacher Preparation Institute in Syria and I love teaching the language, especially for children, from beginning to end, and I am happy when they speak, write and read both classical and colloquial Arabic quickly and in an easy and entertaining way.

Ukrainian/Russian for Undegraduates course proceeds from the easiest elements (e.g. the nomenative case of nouns and past tense of verbs) to the most complex (e.g. adjectival and adverbial participles. All of the materials is presented from the point of view of an English speaker learning Ukrainian/Russian.The course is diveded into twenty three chapters and introduction to phonetics. This division readily corresponds to a lesson or two lessons per week in a twenty -six/thirteen weeks course, including devotion to phonetics and one week remaining for testing and review. The grammatical drilss are included. Each lesson ends with a homework drill which is to be done outside of the class and which is intended to be a test of the student's grasp of the material covered.
