It would be a great pleasure to share my language and culture with you! The classes are semi-structured and can be scheduled flexibly, depending how you would like to study. The aim of the class is to be able to speak and understand the language in an intuitive manner. In the lessons we therefore mainly focus on conversational training. I also provide some (home) excises and practice it together. We can focus on different aspects of Japanese - both language and culture -depending on your preference. Culture is important because in Japanese, the way how you speak is just as important as what you actually say. During the lesson we will handle a variety of subjects, practice vocabulary and pronunciation as well as deal with both intermediate and advanced issues with grammar and expressions in an interactive and engaging way. Along the way I hope you will come to like Japan even more than before! 一緒に頑張りましょう!

In this class, we focus on preparing for the JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) at various levels. We will work on grammar, vocabulary, listening, and reading comprehension, ensuring you develop the skills and knowledge required for the exam. Through the use of past papers and mock tests, you'll become familiar with the actual test format while strengthening your abilities. This course aims to help you build practical Japanese language skills, so you can approach the exam with confidence and achieve your desired results.

I enjoy cooking, painting, traveling, reading, and yoga. My lessons are extremely well planned and organized so there’s no time wasted and I enjoy forming a trusting relationship with my students. When students trust their teacher they feel free to ask questions and know that it’s okay to ask the same question repeatedly until they fully understand. Another important feature of my lessons is the quality of my follow-up reviews. My reviews are meticulous, complete with footnotes that offer supplementary information. Because of my detailed feedback students not only learn during my lesson, but after it as well. I’m so happy to know that some of my students print out my reviews and keep them in a folder for self-study!
