Hi, My name is Miyuki. I was born in Nagano and I work in Tokyo now. I lived in Australia for 2 years. This class is for people who want to learn Japanese. The focus is to learn how to speak Japanese and how to write Japanese. Also, you can practice speaking and listen to Japanese. I work in a hotel so you can learn about business and hospitality. Of course, you can learn casual Japanese too :) I’m glad that non-Japanese speakers want to learn Japanese and I’d like to help them. Konnichiwa! I am a native Japanese born in Yokohama, a city neighboring Tokyo, and I currently live in Geneve, Switzerland. I am fluent in both English and Japanese, and I plan to use both languages in my Japanese lessons. In my lessons, I focus on tailoring the content to each student’s goals and proficiency level. I use structured materials like “Minna no Nihongo” or "Genki" to build a solid foundation, while also including real-life conversation practice to help students learn Japanese they can actually use. It is challenging to explain grammar to young learners (ages 5 or 6 and above), so I use pictures and realia to conduct lessons. I learned this method through Association of Japanese Language for Children (AJLC) and hold a qualification as a Japanese language instructor for children. My goal is to create lessons that are fun and motivating, while also helping students see real progress in their Japanese skills! Learning a new language may be tough, but I also know it expands our world. I look forward to embarking on this adventure with everyone who wants to learn Japane.

Since I graduated with a master's degree in Japanese language and civilization, I have been teaching Japanese to beginners and intermediates online, as I did as a tutor at the University of Paris 7. At university Paris 2, I taught french and explained the specific words applied in french law to foreign students. At university Paris 7, I supervised the dissertations redaction of foreign scholarship holders. I also made special preparation for language examination as JLPT and DELF exam, courses about French literature and history.
