TEENAGERS' TIME! Releasing emotions, sharing thoughts, identifying 'what you need' and build on confidence and resilience.
This is an 8-session program aimed at the school ‘transition’ years of ages 12-19. The group sessions are facilitated following a broader Personal, Health, Social, and Economic Education (PSHE) curriculum focusing on gathering teens' needs, making them objects of reflection while leveraging neuroscience information and a playful approach. The program can also well serve as a taster for teachers/parents in separate sessions or workshops.
In particular, Teen's Time explores issues around:
- Working with concentration and focus; exploring how we can work with a wandering mind.
- Identifying emotions, how they work, and interact with thoughts and body sensations.
- Why humans worry, and how to support ourselves when we do so.
- Sleep: why it is important and what to do if we struggle to sleep well.
- Being with others: the opportunities and challenges of working skillfully with friendships and other relationships,

I have a long cross functional career which started at very young age in the family entrepreneurship. In societies that encourage to constantly compete with each other, our sense of self-worth rises and falls according to our latest success or failure with almost no control from our side. Research have found that developing kindness and compassion for ourselves and others builds our confidence and resilience, helps create meaningful, caring relationship and promotes physical and mental health.
