About Me

Hello DEAREST,

I've been teaching English online since 2014. I started when I was still in university. I thought to myself: I have a lot of free time and have always been passionate about great conversations and foreign cultures so why not?

I currently work for an airline as a Social Media Team Lead. I manage and guide my own team of agents who assist passengers 24/7. Because of my job, I am able to travel and explore the world!

When it comes to learning any language, daily conversation is important. Grammar is necessary but I believe you will get to master this once you know the basics. The best way to master a language is to practice it daily with someone who knows it by heart.

In the Philippines, we speak two official languages - English and Filipino. I've been speaking English since I was a kid so you can be confident that I'm a good language partner.

My lesson is mostly Free Talk. My goal is to allow my students to practice speaking and listening. This is why I also don't call myself a teacher but rather a language partner.

I graduated from the University of the Philippines. During my first two years, I studied Literature. I then changed my major to Tourism because it was a booming industry during my time. I still love Literature and I am happy that my love for language and art remains to be a passion of mine. Studying tourism opened my eyes to foreign opportunities as well as enabled me to become more culturally aware and embrace diversity.

I am currently working on my TEFL Certification. However, I have been teaching English online since 2014. I have worked with students of diverse backgrounds and ages. I am also a passionate content writer in English and a Team Lead by profession so coaching and daily conversations are my strengths.

Instead of suppressing these emotions and creating energetical and mental blockages (that can end up into somatic pains or burn-out): we should pay more attention to these inner warning messages and strengthen our emotional intelligence to be able to cope with the infinitesimal external stimulus and daily-stress of our very fast lives. It can be challenging to sense with clarity what is the origin of some feelings of frustration, unsatisfaction, discomfort, or grief, and it can be intimidating or discouraging to walk alone on that path. Merging from a movement philosophy research entitled Behind & Beyond, to its phenomenological understanding. The metaphysical unity of the tangible and intangible bodies expounds on the undeniable relationships between those in the physical realm. The tangible body (the material vehicle), the intangibles bodies (psychological, emotional, energetical, and spiritual). As a dance healing practice, guiding the practitioner to conscious corporeality, and subjective emotional understanding, this methodology can also be a useful tool to improve artistry and technical skills on a deeper level, widening mindful creativity, awareness, empathy, and sensitivity. (TE) movement and dance methodology combines a meditative approach in stillness and through movement, awakening the mind, spreading the awareness into different body parts; putting a specific emphasis on improvisation skills, and musicality, following energy impulses and intuitive movement and increasing the flow of energy. Inviting the practitioners to practice resilience, non-self definition, non-judgment, self-care and self-love, integrity, and acceptance to overcome technical, physical, and mental limits holding the practitioner from his self-achievement potentiality. Sometimes you get stuck. Sometimes life choices and 'crossroads' are difficult. Sometimes you just don't know. Sometimes you're looking for someone to think critically with (or to think against...) Whether it is at work, in your life, relationship, social life, etc. Anyone can get 'stuck'. As a personal coach I teach and/or help you to come out of it better, to deal with it, to learn. Because every setback can also bring you something that you can use. That is what I want to teach you, discover together with you. I can help you structure what you are doing, set (realistic) goals for life and work. I also help you learn to prepare for difficult conversations, for example. But first and foremost, I listen to you. With reflection questions, I may already put you on a track that leads somewhere. I teach you how to discover what you really want. I do this by asking further questions (sometimes with uncomfortable questions) and by giving you exercises so that you can get started yourself. The responsibility of course always lies with you when it comes to making choices, or with regard to what you want to get out of a trajectory. But sometimes brainstorming and thinking together just helps better (in your learning process). With a psychology degree, a variety of courses after my education, 25 years of work experience (controlling, purchasing, strategic advice, administration, HR), coaching experience with interns, and education for adults, I am broadly oriented.
