About Me

My name is Lucyna. I am a committed academic lecturer in the field of business management , earned PhD in the discipline of management science. My degree subject relates to virtual organization of business activities. The issues I cover in my lectures are particularly related to business process management, managerial decision making, virtual organization of activities , strategic management. I have also supervised dissertations at both under – graduate and post- graduate level. In addition, integrating theory and practice I provide business consulting services to start-ups, small and medium-sized companies using a handbook titled Amicus Res, I co-authored. Amicus Res is an innovative tool for the development of entrepreneurship, based on business-proven decision-making algorithms with all the necessary related documentation. I also hold business English workshops.

Experience / Qualifications

I have over 40 year experience in academia with a strong knowledge of academic practice, including the ability of working within the Virtual Learning Environment (mostly using the Moodle Platform).
From 2000 to 2012 I worked at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn ( the biggest public University in the north - east region of Poland) as an assistant professor in the Chair of Economic Science teaching subject in the area of management for graduate and postgraduate students
From 1997 to 2022 I worked at Kotarbiński University of Information Technology in Olsztyn teaching subject in the area of management for graduate and postgraduate students, serving simultaneously as dean and vice-rector of the University.
In addition, I have extensive experience in Business English education (more than 10 years of teaching at academic level). My English courses are designed to improve business English skills and abilities in the areas of business meetings, business phone calls, small talks, writing reports and e-mails, business presentations, multinational job interview, discussing different business topics and others.
