This combination of art and English class will help children explore their creative ability and, at the same time, gain new language skills. We can discuss any medium you want your child to explore and I will create a suitable lesson for each class. Tailored classes with interesting artistic topics will provide extra motivation for students and encourage them to remember various information from the class. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

Using oils and acrylics to create fine art images. You will learn basic colour theory to mix a simple palette of colours. Sessions might include the use of some drawing skills. You will be encouraged to use your creative skills to find your own style.

In this class, you will learn how to make soaps with ingredients that are already available in your pantry and 1 soap recipe I created that is cleansing, moisturizing and very good for the skin. What you only need is caustic soda or lye, water and some oils.

Have you ever heard of macrame? Macrame is a knotting technique that can be used to create many great projects from cotton yarn. In this course I'll show you online how to get started and how to use the basic knots very quickly. You can make so many projects using these knots: wall hangings, keychains, wall mirrors, hanging baskets... Just a nice hobby now that you have to spend a lot of time indoors. I work traditionally in physical mediums such as watercolour, oil paint, acrylics, gouache, coloured pencil, charcoal and graphite. I graduated with a First Class BA Honours in Fine Art from Southampton University. I run workshops for groups locally, and work with therapeutic art techniques. I'm well-versed in grant writing, having achieved 3 successful grants to date and my work is featured in a number of publications. I have been fortunate enough to have works in private collections. My hours are flexible, and the range of mediums I work in is too. I have experience teaching, and am bilingual in English and Greek.
