Do you want to learn the basics of drawing? Or are you already past that level? Do you want to draw on paper (with pencils) or on a screen? Do you want to learn the basics of 2D animation? All for a very reasonable price? We can do it! Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. I'm a (private) art teacher, I'm also a freelance artist and have been working as one for about 7 years. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city. I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational. I unfortunately do not speak Dutch (yet), but am confident we can overcome any potential language barrier we come across. I have the most experience in teaching teenagers and preteens, so I think we would definitely be a good match if you're a parent or guardian looking for a teacher for your child. This course is aimed at those wishing to improve or discover the disciplines of traditional and/or digital drawing. I have a bachelor's degree in computer graphics, animation and illustration since 2019. I teach drawing in general and the use of the Adobe suite (including Illustrator and Photoshop, the most popular digital drawing software). To establish your program, tell me what you want to work on and I will write your lessons accordingly. The first lesson will be used to see your level. Looking forward to working together!

In this class, I will teach you all the essentials you will need to know so you can: model, texture and animate within this software. I have 3 years of experience within Blender and I have a distinction in a Level 3 extended diploma in Games Development. In these classes, I will provide a document with all the important shortcuts that are vital.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style. For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. I like to teach children and adults via mini projects involving art history references and help them develop narratives around their work. This is not suitable for any professional work, as I am surely not going to do any 3D work for you :) The course will be tailor-made, which means that I will assist and advise you with the best possible hints and tips based on your current skills and current portfolio. I will provide you with personalized feedback to help you boost your demo reel as close as possible to the standards of the industry for you to catch the attention of recruiters and hopefully getting you a job. The software does not really matter, the general idea is to provide a large and accurate knowledge for you to keep progressing with your preferred software of choice. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey.
