Voice lessons for ages 13 and older. I teach private voice lessons for singers at all levels. I am a classically trained soprano and teach both classical voice as well as musical theatre repertoire. I am currently on the Voice Faculty of Westminster Choir College, SongFest (one of America's preeminent Art Song Festivals), and run my own course of study here in Salzburg that includes language study, private voice study with myself and soprano, Barbara Bonney, as well as various Master Classes with multiple singers. Experienced Oud & Oriental singing teacher for over 8 years, Lebanese, currently residing in Mönchengladbach. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes. However, if you lack a passion for music or the instrument itself, I advise against pursuing it.
