Film Pre-Production to Production: From Idea to Execution

Chess is a fun game that starts with the basic rules and moves through the 3 parts of the game: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. The focus at first is to teach you how the pieces move, what the goal of the opening is, and how the pieces interact. You will also learn the vocabulary related to chess and chess notation. Tactics are then explored to take advantage of hanging pieces, lack of king safety, space, and tempo. From here depending on what your personal goals are we will adapt the classes to cover what will help you progress. I can also give group classes, contact me if you have a group, we can discuss how to best organise those classes and pricing.

In the KS3 Science segment, we’ll cover core Biology, Chemistry, and Physics topics, using real-world examples and practice problems to build a strong foundation. Alongside, you'll get an introduction to project management principles like goal setting, time management, and collaboration, all tailored for students. This integrated approach not only enhances your understanding of science but also equips you with skills to manage projects—valuable for school assignments, group work, and future endeavors!

You will learn how to turn your ideas into screenplays with engaging and challenging storylines to engage an audience in TV and Film, using Industry standards. We will then look at how to write a Pitch Deck to send to Executive Producers and Commissioners. We will then look at how you cast, what crew will you need, do location reccies, costume and art design, which will lead to how to produce a Production Schedule, which is essential for everyone involved. You will learn about creating a shot list for your shoot, which includes camera angles, framing, lighting, lenses and additional equipment necessary. Once you have everybody and everything you need for your particular project, you will go out filming. You will then learn how to use Editing software, and how to make choices that are interesting and exciting.
