I'm an opera and theatre director with experience in staging (8 + years) and teaching acting and singing (children, adolescents, adults). Emphasis will be placed on effective communication by adjusting your physical, vocal, and emotional state, to successfully navigate in any given circumstance. This is not only fundamental to becoming a great film or stage actor, but it is equally important in navigating life, through all the various relationships, jobs, and situations we may encounter. I am confident that upon completion of this class, you will transform the way you think about acting, with the realization that we are all actors.

Dear students! My name is Anna, I am an opera singer and a teacher of vocal and acting skills. I will help you unlock your beautiful and unique voice, prepare for music school, university, competitions, or simply enjoy singing as a hobby and express yourself through it. My goal depends on your goals, and my teaching strategy is based on the tasks we set together. I warmly invite all who have a passion for singing! A bit about myself: I graduated from the Kazan Music College (Opera Singer and Teacher, 2015-2019), and with honors from the Kazan Conservatory (2019-2023) in the Musical Theatre department. I was a soloist at the opera studio of the conservatory and am actively engaged in concert performances. My teaching experience includes working with children and teenagers at the Academy of Laughter, as well as private lessons for adults. I also coach dramatic theater actors in singing. Classes, choreography and staging! in person or virtually Are you going home and want to do something special? Let's do it together, whether it's a dance, a performance or whatever you want, alone, with your partner, family, bridesmaids or whoever you want. There are two options: I teach you how to dance the genre you are going to dance + the choreography or I just teach you the choreography to perform, it's up to you. The creation of choreographies depends on their duration. All ages and levels, don't wait any longer!

My lessons are primarily for adults. You can be needing a coach for an audition or a full production, maybe you want to find that spark again by trying a different method, or you might want to try acting out, great! I can adjust to whatever you need. My lessons are at least an hour or more. I have a vocal/light physical warm-up that I like to do at the beginning of subsequent lessons. I remember one of my first teachers saying "An actor should be a blank canvas." And this made sense at first. So I went up on our small stage to do a monologue and it was terrible. My teacher said, "Kamil, you didn't really do anything." "Well, yeah? I am a blank canvas" As a neurodiverse person, I am overanalytical, literal, incredibly anxious and have difficulty speaking with full confidence. However, my Master's level education from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School has given me a toolkit where I can work towards placing my self-doubt and uncertainty behind 'The Work.' The Work is the hours you've spent in the text, the pencil markings in the script, the crinkled pages from taking it in and out of your backpack. It's the objective truth that you can rely on when your self-awareness doesn't want you to be the character, when you can feel an audience member looking at you, when the person behind the camera laughs at something you didn't inherently think was funny. It's your character's lifesaver. For those that may require more structure when they receive text, I can help you deconstruct that overwhelming building into its key components. Whether it's from a play you've been newly cast in, a voiceover script you can't wrap your head around, or just a simple self-tape, we can work to break down text that lets BE that blank canvas on the day, but you know what paints you've used, what strokes you can utilise, you know the feel of the paintbrush from all the canvases you've practised on. Also, it's a good way to memorise lines. And that's just a nice bonus.

Voice acting, particularly for video games, is a highly sought after career, and requires dedication and luck as well as talent. My approach is collaborative and actor-led, finding truthful performance with a strong technical base.
