I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with. I am interdisciplinary artist based in Glasgow, UK. Working across, film, moving image, photography and sculpture I have extensive experience teaching and mentoring online and I am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge by helping other artists and student to develop theirs. The form of the lessons adapts to the specific requests, needs and problems of the student. They also helped me to be more efficient in researching and citing useful sources for courses, dissertations, presentations etc. Lessons can be given at the student's home, in a municipal library, in a UNIGE building, or by webcam (for example via Jitsi, which is free, practical, and has always worked well with my students).

I am an international contemporary art curator with 15 years experience working with public and private collections. I am currently undertaking a PhD, developing alternative contemporary art narratives within heritage collections. This course is intended to students andadults who want to familiarise with curatorial practice prior to undertake a Master, to current students in curatorial pracitce for further advice and tutorials, as well as to emergent artists or students in contemporay art who ned further support in working with a space.
