Being a concert cellist, the lessons that I am giving are very well adapted for young ambitious musicians or adults. The most important for me is to guide every students to his own goals, analyzing their needs and respecting their individuality. The lessons are however opened to everyone.

I teach trumpet lessons, musical training and jazz initiation. Currently a graduate student at the Geneva University of Music and holds a Master's degree in Music Pedagogy, the teacher is above all a passion for me. The Piano can from childhood bring a lot of benefit to the child. Music trains the memory, the taste for effort but also the artistic sense, the musicality and all this in a playful way. The objective would be to teach the child (or anyone wishing to start the piano) the basics of the piano, passing of course by some notions of music theory, and accompanying the student in learning his first melodies. All this in pleasure, and sharing. I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old, and reached the upper secondary level at the AVCEM exam when I was 15 years old. I also like to sing a lot while accompanying myself on the piano. I would very much like to pass on this taste for music and give the basics of this beautiful instrument. I am currently at the University of Geneva, which is why courses during weekends and school holidays would be the most practical for me. I am happy to travel to my home with a public transport subscription, but if necessary the student can come and take lessons at my place.

Pianist student at the HEM in Geneva offers piano lessons as well as music theory! Basic elementary and intermediate level I also propose a part to speak about the musical appreciation of all the periods of the history of the music. For all ages! These will be lessons to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we talk about music theory (harmony, music theory, analysis, etc.) and also a time to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation. Besides classical education, I also work with jazz pieces and pop music. It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover. I have over five years of experience teaching piano and music theory, with children, youth and adults. I can move to the student's home (Lausanne and Canton of Vaud) and I am flexible with weekly schedules. I adapt to each student and situation! Classes can be given in French, Spanish or English.

I also teach Grade 5 theory for International students ABRSM and have a 100% pass rate. I also do crash courses to cover Grade 1 to 5 in 3-4 months depending when the exam date is fixed. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. The 30 mins lesson option is just for the new students, so we can meet, discuss, see what you need (level, scores, etc) and, of, course, start to play! Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
