Greek Art A-Z is a journey into the world of Modern Greek Art from the independence of the Greek State to the present times. We will explore together all the important artistic creations and set them in their historical and social context, in order to understand their coherence, establish the direct relationship between art and the cultural evolution of each period, and connect Art with life. Art, whether it serves religion, beliefs, ideals, passions, ambitions, hopes, or the need for communication, is a unique aesthetic experience combining myth with history and science. It is devided in 2 circles (Fall-Winter / Spring-Summer) and each session includes autonomous topics. I am an international contemporary art curator with 15 years experience working with public and private collections. I am currently undertaking a PhD, developing alternative contemporary art narratives within heritage collections.
