Violin, music theory, and viola lessons for all ages

Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. Lessons at home or at the student's home (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Schaerbeek, Saint-Josse, Evere and other neighboring municipalities, occasionally in Walloon Brabant). Classes can be given in French, English or Spanish.

I am a cello teacher, musical awakening and music theory. My classes are for people of all ages. From toddlers to adults. I graduated with two bachelor's degrees from the Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid and the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels. I graduated from the Master's degree at the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels with Olsi Leka, principal cellist of the Belgian National Orchestra. Professional pianist and passionate about pedagogy, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 10 years now in conservatories, music schools and private lessons. Holder of a performance license from the Rouen Conservatory in France, I am currently continuing my training at the Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur in order to teach in academies. I adapt to the profile of each student so that they can flourish musically!

After studying at the A. Steffani Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto in Italy where he obtained the highest distinction, Gabriele then completed his Master's degree in violin with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Mons with M° Eliot Lawson and Wibert Aerts. During his training, Gabriele also studied with Ilya Grubert at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia in Italy, Elina Vahala at the Hochschule Fur Musik Karlsruhe and took masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Stefano Pagliani, Elisabeth Perry, Igor Volochine, Vineta Sareika, Kati Sebestyén and Chouchane Sironossian. He is currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with M° Shirly Laub and M° Frédéric d'Ursel in a specialized master's degree and Agrégation at the Royal Conservatory of Mons. In 2018, Gabriele won the audition for the Jeugd Antwerp Simphony Orchestra (ASO) and for the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest (NJO); in 2019 he won the audition for European Union Youth Orchestra (Euyo) and Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza (OTO) and is also selected in 2020 for the Young Belgian Strings as well as the Antwerp Philarmonic Orchestra. He has collaborated with several orchestras in Italy and Belgium, including the Boho Strings Orchestra in Antwerp, the Ataneres Ensemble in Louvain, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai in Tournai, the Assai Symphonia in Hasselt, the Orchestra of Archi Italiani and the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Italy. Very involved in the chamber music repertoire, Gabriele founded in 2018 with the pianist Julien Lejeune the Duo Aréthuse, in which they explore the romantic French and contemporary Italian repertoire, in search of an interpretation marked by accuracy, simplicity and of modernity. They are at the initiative of the creation in 2019 of the Hellens Ensemble, consisting of a string quartet, a piano and a lyrical singer, an ensemble with which they are interested in Belgian music and more particularly to the repertoire with voice. Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua at the Faculty of History and Musicology.

My lessons will be based on a methodology adapted to each student, according to their age, desires and requests. Classes are for all levels and all ages. It's never too late to start! As a teacher, I want to create a pleasant learning atmosphere where each student flourishes.

Please note that due to the nature of online sessions, absolute beginners will not be accepted as they should start with physical lessons. Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children. With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake. Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

Hello ! I offer lessons for young people wishing to discover music. These are musical awareness courses which combine the discovery of music, piano and music theory. In the musical awareness course, we work on the rhythm and notes of the staff.

Pedagogy: Focused on the student and his own objectives. I will try to guide you towards a plan that will correspond to your desires, while proposing a working method based on the pleasure of playing together, rigor, musical culture and theoretical knowledge. My favorite repertoire is jazz, bossa, funk, but I also like to offer pieces from classical and pop, accompanying you on the piano to get you used to playing in a group. All levels and all ages welcome.
