Professional drum lessons for all ages, styles and levels

Hey! Would you like to learn to play that one track (or several tracks) from Coldplay, John Legend, Elton John, .. on the piano, but you don't know where to start? Or would you like to learn how to produce, mix and master with Ableton Live to create your own tracks? Or would you like to learn how a synthesizer works and how you can make sounds with it? I can help you! I've been playing the piano for about 15 years now after my Pop & Jazz education, and I've done quite a few performances in all kinds of genres. In addition, I also obtained a degree in Electronic Music Production at Point Blank Music School, and I am currently active as a keyboard player and producer. I mainly play pop music, but we can certainly look at other genres as well. For piano lessons I recommend 30 minutes so that we can cover new topics each lesson that you can then practice at home. For Ableton Live, 60 minutes is more suitable if you want to get the hang of it quickly, but you can certainly learn it in 30 minutes per lesson. Interested? Students will learn to improvise and learn how to structure songs, as well as the basis of music theory. From a very young age I had a passion for rhythm, so naturally, percussion was my choice. I've been studying percussion and music theory for over 15 years now, and I would like to share my knowledge with whoever shares this passion.

I’m a Music Producer with experience in sound design and composition for moving image. I have been using Ableton as my main daw for 12 years for electronic music production, ranging from pop and experimental music to studio recording sessions. 
In the last few years, I’ve been focusing on assisting producers and songwriters with developing and improving their live electronic performance workflow. I can also provide consultancy on this topic, whether you’re interested in performing or rearranging your material. This course is recommended for anyone who wants to discover the basics of Ableton Live or learn new music production techniques to extend their practice. The course is flexible and can be tailored to everybody’s needs. I am an electronic music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from the renowned Rockacademie in Tilburg, Netherlands, and I have a music studio in the heart of Amsterdam. In these private lessons I will cover a broad range of topics that you'd like to learn about using Ableton Live! With over a decade in teaching experience across a broad range of topics, I'm prepared to customize lessons to make sure you get the most out of your time. To do this, we'll spend about 5-10 minutes just going through your own music background and experience (don't worry, this won't count towards lesson time) so I can get a sense of how best to progress your skills. Topics may include: beat-making, melody/harmony writing, arrangement, workflow tips, sound design, mixing and mastering, recording, live performance, sampling, and pretty much anything else you can think of to get your sounds off the ground. Any genre is okay!
