Would you like to learn more about History, or do you have a particular interest in Ancient History, Art History or any other aspect of the Ancient World? If the answer is yes, I am here to teach you and take you on a trip to past historical periods, learning the keys of each culture, and enjoying learning about ancient empires, wars, society and the diversity of people that shaped the world in which we live today. I am Rubén, a recent PhD in Archaeology by the University of Leicester with extensive experience teaching in academia for the last 6 years. I have also taught Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My experience to communicate to different types of audiences have been enhanced through my work as a contributing writer for the National Geographic History Magazine. The review classes for ESO students are intended to help students make the most of their learning stage, offering support in those subjects in which they have the most difficulties, resolving doubts and explaining the syllabus. Academic support outside of school will improve results and have good preparation for the next educational stage. Review classes are taught in: Spanish Language, History, Mathematics, Biology, English, Catalan Language, French, Philosophy, Statistics and Economics at the ESO level.

Let me introduce myself, I am Marine, a final year Master's student in History, I am currently on a university exchange in Madrid for the year. I have a Bachelor's degree in History from the Sorbonne in France, I gave tutoring classes all my last year at my university for Bachelor's students. The classes are adapted to the curricular content corresponding to the school year. Since last year the curriculum is mainly oriented towards competencies, so the classes will focus on this aspect of teaching. As a methodology I use teaching-learning strategies in which I give priority to the understanding of the content, for which schemes, summaries, mental maps are used and the use of ICT (information and communication technologies) is generalized.

Art workshops for children and adults focused on different artistic techniques such as drawing, acrylic painting, oil painting, charcoal, collage, watercolor, sculpture, spray painting. We develop and offer courses both on the different artistic currents and monographs on contemporary artists.

Basic analysis of current political events. Study of the sociological and economic behavior of countries. Analysis of society, and historiographical study of social behavior. My way of teaching the classes will be dynamic and according to the student's requests.

The priority of the class is conversation as a means of teaching. The classes are taught in lessons per module, a total of four, where the students will interact in the development of the classroom, seeking learning in the interdisciplinary context. In module one and two, the aim is to reach the basic level through everyday conversations that are essential for learning the first words and phrases, enriching the knowledge of grammar. Arriving at modules three and four, the student will feel more confident when speaking, writing, reading and listening to the language through the topics raised.
