In addition, we will work on the sense of rhythm and hearing and I will offer you complementary documentation to introduce you to the fascinating world of classical music and the violin. My classes follow the Suzuki method, but I am interested in knowing about the student and their tastes in order to be able to provide the best study plan. We will use technical fundamentals and many practical examples. I am a graduate of RCSMM (Madrid) and DePaul University School of Music (Chicago) and I have had experience in orchestra, chamber music and as a teacher. I have played as a recitalist in venues both in Europe and the US and received a Fulbright scholarship for my postgraduate studies. I offer my classes in both Spanish and English in case you prefer a more bilingual experience.

My name is Lauren I am a violist and composer based in Schöppingen, Germany. I received my Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance at The Juilliard School in 2019, and have since taught music lessons online and in-person since 2013. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 3-80. I teach classical music, improvisation, even electronics, if that is of interest. I always cater to the needs and interests of my students, creating an individualized lesson plan for them. I have studied Alexander Technique, and always emphasize the importance of physical health and comfort in my instrumental teaching. When teaching composition - I enjoy discovering the creativity of each student, helping them find their individual voice. I can teach Dorico Notation Software, Adobe Illustrator, Logic Pro X, and Ableton. I currently teach students internationally, and can accomodate other time zones.
