Hi! I am a guitar teacher with a long experience as a guitarist and teacher. Most of it in the UK, where I spent twenty years teaching guitar and playing in different music groups. I have a Master in Guitar from Berklee College of Music, Boston, USA. My teaching method is based on the teaching method of this fantastic music school, which is internationally recognized as one of the 2-3 best in the world. The classes are personalized and adapted to the needs and requirements of each student. I am a Mentor for Berklee online, helping and advising Berklee college of Music students assigned to me. I also give classes in different centers and schools in Madrid and I give private classes at home to all ages and different levels. Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate.
