Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Hello, My name is Giorgia. I offer private lessons in Latin and Greek to those who want to improve their translation skills in classical languages. I have been dedicated to translating classical languages for over 25 years and offering private lessons for over 20 years. I have extensive experience in classical languages and literature. In fact, I attended the "liceo classico" in Italy, a country whose centuries-old philological tradition requires students on this course to acquire a solid competence in translation from Latin and Greek, as well as a broad knowledge of classical literature, by devoting nine hours a week to the study of classical languages, for the entire duration of the five-year course. I began teaching classical languages during my university years, while also studying other humanistic disciplines, such as philosophy and literature.
