If you want, I would like to briefly tell you how we can learn Turkish.🤓 First, in our first lesson, we determine your level together📝 and start our lessons suitable for your level. Our lessons include reading📕, writing✏️, listening🧏🏽‍♀️, and speaking🗣️. I want you to read and translate reading passages in the reading section. Here, we write down and memorize the new words and verbs we learn.🧠 Then, after listening to a text related to our topic, I want you to explain in Turkish what you understood. Of course, understanding the texts might be a bit difficult at first, but we overcome this and learn together. 💪Then, we come to the most fun part, of course, the speaking part. In this part, we talk about the texts we have read and listened to before. Of course, we try to use new words and verbs more. I love people who talk a lot in my classes. It's not a problem even if it gives me a bit of a headache🤕😁 As long as you learn🙏❤️. And finally, I give you a writing assignment related to the topic and eagerly await our next lesson. I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners and I have taught hundreds of students from all ages and professions for more than 20 years. I am a professional English teacher but I like teaching Turkish more as it is my mother tongue and it is a great pleasure for me to share its secrets and beauty. If you are a beginner I give a short lecture about the history of Turkish and its characteristics and help you find your way in this very logical, consistent and elegant language. You understand that Turkish is different but that does not necessarily mean difficulty. From the first lesson, you start speaking Turkish and find yourself in a dialogue. I can teach at my place and your place (all around Istanbul). I use several books using a grammar-based approach integrated with communicative methods to boost the development of all language skills. But we always focus on TALK, TALK, TALK. As a language learner for many years, I know one can learn, improve and take pleasure in a foreign language only by talking and communicating. It is essential to get direct pleasure from what you have learned. My aim is to motivate and inspire you to speak Turkish ignoring minor mistakes and without thinking grammar. I try to keep in contact with my students almost every day through whatsapp and email. And start some short dialogues.
